    Error after posting a thread as an administrator

    Hello.
    I need help.
    I did play around with installing / uninstalling products from the forum.

    after trying to post a new thread in a forum, as an administrator, I get this :

    "Call to undefined function ereg() on line 30 in /home3/adultfr3/public_html/forums/includes/class_postbit.php(345) : eval()'d code
    #0 /home3/adultfr3/public_html/forums/includes/class_postbit.php(345): eval()
    #1 /home3/adultfr3/public_html/forums/showthread.php(1096): vB_Postbit->construct_postbit(Array)
    #2 {main}

    Fatal User Error: Call to undefined function ereg() on line 30 in ..../includes/class_postbit.php(345) : eval()'d code in ..../vb/vb.php on line 286
    Trace Data:

    [ NULL ]
    Var Data:
    null "

    what has gone wrong?

    Thank you in advance...

    That function doesn't exist in PHP 7.0 or higher. You'll need to contact the addon author that used it and have them update their addon for newer versions of PHP.
