"Who read thread" not working?

Hey folks! I'm using 4.2.5 and have it enabled under Thread Display Options (showthread), but it's not working? I checked permissions, etc. still can't figure it out?

I had to go through every forum/sub-forum in the Forum Manager to allow it as well
