Is there anyway to prevent guests from changing style from the default apart from removing all the options for everyone?
Stop guests changing styles

Option 1
AdminCP >> Styles & Templates >> Styles
Uncheck all except the style you want people to use. Admins can still select any style.
Option 2
AdminCP >> Settings >> Options >> Style and Language Options
Select the style you want for your users as Default StyleDefault Style Select the default style for your forums. This style will be used for all guests, and any members who have not expressed a style preference in their options, or are attempting to use a style that does not exist or is forbidden. .Allow Users To Change Styles = No This allows users to set their preferred style set on registration or when editing their option. Setting this to 'No' disables that option and will force them to use whatever style has been specified. Last edited by djbaxter; Wed 4 Apr '18, 1:34am. -
I misread your post. What I posted is how to do that for members.
How would you even know if Guests are changing styles? And why is this a problem?
You could do some custom template edits using conditionals I would think, e.g., only display the style changer if a visitor is a logged in registered member.👍 1Comment

You would need to wrap the style chooser in the footer template in a conditional so that it shows only to non-guests:

You can use this add-on at vBulletin.org: https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=188328
This allows you to optionally specify usergroups who will see specific ads, so you could add some new ads which will only be shown to non-logged in Guests no matter what style they are viewing.Comment
