Prevent users from seeing "edited" message on posts

Hey folks,

Sometimes the moderators in our forum want to salvage a post or make a spelling correction, however, everyone can see when it's been edited. I thought I had fixed this in the settings, but it doesn't work. Admincp > Usergroup Manager > General Permissions > Show edited by note on edited messages? (I checked "No)

Why do people still see the "edited by" info on the posts when I have this checked?

Because either you have recently changed this option and the posts were edited before your changes, or mods fill the edit reason field.
