I know there are other topics regarding this, but I'm running 4.2.5 and using PayPal to accept payments for Paid Subscriptions. I did not believe this was an issue as I believe it was fixed in 4.2.5, but I received the following from PayPal back in late December. Is there any action required on our end? (Edit: I should add that I don't have IPN enabled and never have.)

You will most likely need to change. That is the focus that the web is moving to these days. You'll even take a hit in search engine rankings if you're not using HTTPS.Translations provided by Google.

Understood on that. Am planning to change. Just curious if you're saying I need to change because of the issue I referenced or just that it's a good idea in general. I was a bit confused by the PayPal email considering I am not using IPN.Comment

vBulletin uses IPN. That is how it communicates with Paypal.

The only requirement they impose is that the callbacks from you to them are done via https, the latest vb3 and vb4 already do that. This is my signature.Comment
