  • PHP errors on class_bootstrap

    How do I fix this? The error log is over 120MB filled with just this one line over & over again.

    Or how do I get vbulletin to stop writing to error_log ?

    Code:

    Looks like you have an add on that may not be php 5.6 compatible.

      Ok thank you. I've pruned some addons and these are what I have now.

      The error code has changed to...

        You will need to disable them all, verify the error is gone, then enable them one by one until you find the culprit.

        Also you need to be running at least vB4.2.3 for php 5.6.

          Alright, I'll try that. I'm running vbulletin 4.2.5

            Changed my php to 7.0 & threw this into my php.ini

            So far it got rid of the errors but if I change back to php 5.6, the error log populates immediately. Why? idk but at least it works lol.

            Code:
            ; cPanel-generated php ini directives, do not edit
            ; Manual editing of this file may result in unexpected behavior.
            ; To make changes to this file, use the cPanel MultiPHP INI Editor (Home >> Software >> MultiPHP INI Editor)
            ; For more information, read our documentation (https://go.cpanel.net/EA4ModifyINI)

            display_errors = Off
            max_execution_time = 90
            max_input_time = 60
            max_input_vars = 1000
            memory_limit = 156M
            post_max_size = 200M
            session.gc_maxlifetime = 1440
            session.save_path = "/var/cpanel/php/sessions/ea-php70"
            upload_max_filesize = 200M
            zlib.output_compression = On
            log_errors = Off
            So far the only issue I've found is this https://www.vbulletin.org/forum/show...&postcount=393

              You need to do what I suggested above.

              This is related to third party add-ons, which we do not support, and not the core vBulletin code.

                I might after christmas is over but since everything so far functions & there isn't a 4GB error_log file every 2 days, I'm happy with the results
