Strange ip when user registers

Hi, I've noticed last time 2 users registered in my site, the ip was this format:

2806:XXXX:1:774A:XXXX:F428:XXXX:4DXX (X is used to hide real IP).

Why is this? I've never seen an IP like this. Is this normal? Should I reset any option?

This is the format for ipv6 which suggests they are getting ipv6 ip from their isp could also mean they are using a vpn such as ip-vanish or hotspot sheild
