    [Forum] mysql errors on email

    Almost every day I get on my email the following error:

    Database error in vBulletin :

    mysqli_real_connect(): (HY000/2003): Can't connect to MySQL server on '127.0.0.1' (110)
    /home/XXX/public_html/XXXforum/includes/class_core.php on line 1359

    Classname : vB_Database_MySQLi

    Can you help me with this error? What it means?

    Assuming the forum is working at all (i.e., if the forum displays and you can post, etc.), that is a server error.

    It usually means that you are on a hosting plan that is oversubscribed (e.g., shared hosting with too many people sharing the same resources - not recommended for vBulletin because it needs a lot of resources) or poorly configured.

    Submit a support ticket to your host and get them to investigate why this is happening.

      As mentioned above, it is a sever error. The software cannot connect to your MySQL server. Your hosts will need to resolve this.
