I've no idea what they are. It's not something that is natively supported. If they work by embedding something, you might be able to create a custom bbcode to embed the content in a post.

I am assuming there is javascript to make the model 3D. Can you load these items in an iframe element?

Create a page to load the object. Then create a custom BBCode that wraps the page within an iframe. The iframe would create the window to constrain the size of the object. You can create custom BBCode in the Admin CP under Custom BB Codes -> Add New BB Code.
