Very large thread not responding

i have a thread with over 10000 replies, it has many pictures in it, but it now is completly inaccessable to anyone logged in, no matter what usergroup, this means it cant be moderated, is there a way of pruning the first say 3000 posts in it so it can be managed?

SORRY update, we have several usergroups, a premium usergroup that can access this thread but no admins or mods can, why would this be, we use paid subscriptions but this thread is not even in the paid sub section

This shouldn't happen anyway , I think you should create a support ticket and log the issue to JIRA

We would need more details...for example, what error is received?
What version of vBulletin?
What version of php and MySQL?

No point logging a vB4 issue in JIRA as there is no development work on vB4 now, besides which this isn't a bug. If it was, we'd have thousands of customers reporting it.

Oh , I thought it was a vb5 issue .. I'm sure this won't happen with vb4 anyway unless there is a buggy product installed
