[Forum] Login issues after switchting to HTTPS

    Hello,

I have two vBulletin Boards, 3.8.11 and 4.2.3. Patch Level 2. After switching both boards to HTTPS, I noticed the same login issues on both boards:

If a user logs in, the successful message appears and the first page after redirection is fine. After browsing some pages on the board, the login is gone and an authentication error comes up. I have tracked the HTTP requests and I see, that the browser send the correct session hash to the server. And the session is still available in the vbulletin database, but the server is sending a new session hash back to the browser.

If I click "Remember me" during the login, everything works.

How can I debug the error?

    Thank you, Regards Kristian

      Hello Mark,

thank you for your answer. I have done the conversion by following this tutorial. The server environment is Apache, PHP 5.6, MySQL. You can take a look on the forums here: vBulletin 3.8 & vBulletin 4.2
