      Please provide the following information:
      1. PHP Version
      2. MySQL Version
      3. Any Addons installed
      4. Does the issue occur in a default style?
      5. Any error message on the screen
      6. Browser and Browser version used.
      7. A list of steps that can be used to recreate the issue.

You can find your MySQL version under Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Server Variables -> MySQL Settings

You can find your PHP version in the AdminCP under Maintenance -> View PHPInfo

You can find your addons in the Admin CP under Plugins & Products -> Manage Products.

To create a new default style go to Styles & Templates -> Style Manager and click Add New Style. Set "Parent" to none, give it a name and save.

        PHP version: 7.1.8
        MySQL version: 5.6.35
error: The Dimension limits for this filetype are 180 x 180. We were unable to resize your file so you will need to do so manually and upload it again. Your file is currently 456 x 322.

This error occur after upgrade to 4.2.5. Before this, image automatically resize according to avatar size in 4.2.2.
Now i disable hook system and create a new style to check this, but error remain.

Are you sure ? I did not think vb had such a facility, without modification.

It should attempt to resize the avatar to the maximum sizes specified. It's never been a reliable process and was never intended to be, but it shouldn't (and doesn't) stop working on 4.2.5.

Yes, I'm sure. In 4.2.2, all members set avatars using big pictures.
Are you know any modification for this purpose?

It may be worth switching and seeing if the issue persists.

I would say to my server provider to install Imagemagick on server.
After that what is the process of switching to Imagemagik?

switching to imagemagick work for me.
                            Now avatar resize automatically.
                            Thanks Mark.B for your suggestion.
