duplicate discussion on social groups

I've noticed that after the upgrade to 4.2.4, all social groups have duplicate discussions -
ex: If sociagroup1 had a discussion: discussion1, not there are 2 entries of discussion1.

is there a way to remove the oldest discussion? through admin or mysql query etc.

I don't have specific queries at the moment. The information is stored in the discussion and groupmessage tables. You would have to look at them to build a query.

Make sure to make a backup of your database before altering content directly in the database. If the database is messed up, there will be no way to recover the content.
