Adding new stylevar

I am adding some new stylevars to the master style in vBulletin 4, this works great and all but this adds the custom stylevars to every style on my board, is there a way to add new stylevars to specific styles?

You have a lot more control over individual elements if you use custom CSS classes and IDs instead of stylevars.

Stylevars are useful for large chucks of content but limit what can be done.

This is very true, and Ive been doing it this way for years, but for a plugin/mod that I am creating I need to know about the stylevar setting
