4.2.5 upgrade appears to have broken Forum Runner

Hi all

Members are now reporting that Forum Runner produces an error if a thread is attempted to be read.
This has happened since the forum was upgraded to 4.2.5
Threads are visible but as soon as you click on the thread a message pops up that says.
"The remote server sent an unknown response. This could be a result of the forum software plugin being outdated or having a conflict."

Checking the forum admin and everything appears to be in order. Forum Runner is on 4.2.5 according to the product manager.

Any suggestions please.

Forum Runner is no longer being developed so if it has stopped working, I'm afraid there's little we can do. Sorry.

Could well be php 7 that's broken it, if you are running that now.

Try TapaTalk. My members like it. It's quite popular and regularly maintained.

Why is Forum Runner client still being sold in the app stores if it's broken & no longer supported? Maybe it should be removed?

It still works for a lot of sites, mine included. It doesn't only work with vBulletin either.

It also works with vBulletin 5.
