Hello,
Our forum has been going through it lately. Was running perfectly fine until our database grew beyond what we were allowed with GoDaddy. They shut us down, I had to copy the database and files, move to another server, boot it up there, move attachments to the file system, then copy it all back to the old one and boot it up. The attachments were working after the move to filesystem, but they haven't worked since I moved back to the old server. A few other things broke too, and I contacted vbulletin, it was suggested we upgrade to 4.2.4. Doing so required us moving to a new server anyways that had the proper php version. The upgrade did fix our little issues, but the attachments are still broken. This happened in Jan. I have been trying to fix it every chance I get since. It has been a long road with a TON of googling, and I am now finally asking here.
Our website is Hondaf6b.com
If you are posting a reply or a thread, and you go to manage attachments, click browse, click upload, it seems to be working. I check the folder in ftp and its there. So is its thumbnail, but it displays a string like:
Click image for a larger version. Name:Lots of numbers.jpg Views: Size: Etc.
Click it and you get the error : The image: "The url for image" cannot be displayed because it contains errors.
This is for old and new attachments.
