    Fatal Error when installing 4.2.4

My host upgraded PHP to 5.6.30
    I'm running MySQL 5.5.54-cll

When I try and upgrade to 4.2.4 I get
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysqli_init() in /home/coffeefo/public_html/includes/class_core.php on line 1348

Can anyone please help define what the issue might be?

I've just filled in the form for install assistance from vBulletin and paid for 1 month phone support
Really hoping to be back online within the 4-7 days stated.

The issue is that your host has not installed the MySQLi module for php, only they can fix it.

          Thanks Paul
          Spot on
Once the host realised this they applied the setting, upgraded my profile to reflect permissions and its back online
I appreciate your prompt response - top support
