Transferring some forum categories/threads/posts to another vbulletin installation

Hi guys,

We're on vBulletin 4.2.4 and retiring some old sub-forums. However, an affiliate site with their own license, who has a vBulletin 4.2.2 installation, has requested that we let those old forums migrate to their website instead. Is that hard to do? I've never tried to export forums from one vB4 installation to another and basic googling isn't making it obvious to me how easy or hard the process is.

There is no supported way to move content from one installation to another.
