I realized, many of the websites I knew are down or out of business. Any idea, if it's still possible to find some good skins for vBulletin 4 these days? The only site I know of and is still operational is the vbulletin.org, but it's kinda of dead.

vbulletin.org is far from dead. It remains the best resource to find free styles, there are still plenty of people selling paid styles as well.

vB4 was released in 2009, a whole eight years ago - there are limits to what can be done with styling that hasn't been done before.
