    Problems Admin Control Panel

I am having a couple of issue. When I click on any sections on the side bar on the Admin Control Page the expand the options the page just refreshes and take me back to the same spot. The only way I have found around this is to hit expand all at the top.

2nd. When I try to edit any of the variables of my style I get no options, just a white square. I have included a picture of this problem.

Are these two problems related? Any help would be appreciated.

I would get your php updated to 5.4. Running 5.2 on vB4.2.2 will cause issues.

When did this problem start? Did anything change with vbulletin or your server at that time?

Do you have suhosin or mod_security on your server (if you don't know, please ask your host)?

If I post CSS and you don't know where it goes, throw it into the additional.css template.

I noticed the Sidebar issue a month or so ago, the work around was to expand all so it didn't bother me as much. The editor issue i just noticed yesterday. And I will have to ask about suhosin or mod_security.

Run Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions . Are any files listed as not containing expected contents? Also, ftp to your server and go to the /admincp directory - are all those files chmod to 644?

I have uploaded three pictures of files that say does not contain expected contents. As for the FTP. I have used filezilla to FTP into server and found the directory you listed, but I don't know what I am looking for there.

Please download a fresh copy of the 4.2.2 files from the members area, and upload these to the correct place on the server, taking care to overwrite what is already there.

I downloaded 4.2.2 Patch Level 6 and i am getting the error "File version mismatch: found 4.2.2 Patch Level 6, expected 4.2.2 Patch Level 1." I don't see the option to download 4.2.2 Patch 1. Also do I need to fix all the files that say "File not recognized as part of vBulletin" There is a lot.

Also to add the problems have not gone away.

You need to upload ALL the 4.2.2 files. If you do that, and there is no install folder, then you have not done it right.
