need to add a new header to forum

I want to add a new holiday header to the top of my forum its 800 x 200 where do I go and find this in style manager at to place the image code in.I cant find where to put it.Please give me step by step instructions.I already have a custom header but my web guy did it and I want to learn to do it on my own. Thank You

You would edit the header template in the style manager.
