    Can not edit template

I am running vBulletin version 4.2.3
When i go to admin panel , Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Edit Templates >footer

Problem is when i edit something and try to save it i get these 2 error messages:

    HTML Code:
     Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /admincp/template.php on this server.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Can you help me out to solve this issue?

Sounds like mod_security rules are blocking it. Speak to your host, they need to relax the specific rule that's being triggered.

      Thanks for your advice.
I contacted my hosting, guy from the support changed the mod_security rules but I am still getting the same error. Whole process took over an hour and he tried couple of different settings.

Is there anything else that could be causing this problem?

That sort of response from a host is not great. They should be able to track exactly which rule is triggering the error, as there will be a specific error in the server logs.

It is mod_security, definitely, it's just that the person you dealt with doesn't know how it works. I'd ask to speak to someone who does.
