    Help with integrating a background image in the header

    Hi, can someone please halp me. I am running vb4 with a slightly modified theme (Electron) and a fluid width. I want to put a background image in the header, that kinda fits in the middle, see attachment. It's not part of the logo, it's the layer behind it if you know what I mean.

    I tried editing the header background color and image in the stylevar but neither option seems to have any effect. Any ideas how I can do this?
