[Forum] Attachements - image cannot be displayed because it contains errors

Hi, for some reason, all of the images attached through the forum are now displaying an error message:

The image “http://forumname.com/attachment.php?...=1366842306” cannot be displayed because it contains errors.

Please help.

Did anything change on your forum or on your server? What version of the software are you running and what version of PHP/MySQL are on the server?

Hi Lynne nothing changed that I can think of, especially that would affect the forum's attachments like this. I'm running 4.2.1, PHP 5.4.45 and MySQL 5.5.45-cll-lve.

4.2.1 is not compatible with php 5.4.

you should upgrade vBulletin to the 4.2.4 Beta.

Yes, as Mark said, it sounds like your host upgraded you to PHP5.4 and vB4.2.1 is not compatible with PHP5.4 and will cause the image issues you are having.
