    EOL is an ambiguous term.

    vB4 will never receive any further active development. By that I mean no new features will ever be added, and for the most part no bug fixes will be added either.

    It does however receive security patches, and there is work currently afoot to add php7 compatibility.

    We will also provide support for the latest versions (4.2.3 and 4.2.4).

    All of the above also applies to vB3.

        Who knows? We don't set dates like that far into the future. There are no current plans to end security patching for vB4.
