    Hello Every one

I am new To vbulletin 4.

And after upgrade my vbulletin 3 to vbulletin 4 my vbulletin not sending.. i checked from Diagnostics

    Error is
    SMTP: mail.yourhostingaccount.com
    sendmail_from: [email protected]
    sendmail_path: /usr/sbin/sendmail -t -i
    Help
    Results
The mailing function returned an error while trying to send the mail.
Check your mail server to ensure it is configured correctly to allow PHP to send mail from it. You should also check your mail server's error log for more diagnostic information.

    please help me.

in AdminCP >> Settings >> Options >> Email options:

    1. set Use Mailqueue System = No
    2. set SMTP Email = No

    Try that first.

It's something you would need to check with your mail provider, as per the diagnostic error:

"Check your mail server to ensure it is configured correctly to allow PHP to send mail from it."

Users control this themselves via the UserCP.

No, it's a user controlled setting I'm afraid.

To be quite honest, unless you have a fabulously busy site, PM email notifications will not generate much traffic, so if your host suspends your account over that, you should look for a new host because you will forever find them disabling stuff they don't like.
