zend opcache?

Can vBulletin 4.2.3 support zend opcache? It's built into PHP 5.5, so I was thinking of using that instead of xcache. But I can't find any setting to put in config.php for zend opcache - only xcache, memcached, and APC.

Also, would enabling memcached do any good on a single-server forum? Could it work alongside zend opcache, or would it have no benefits?
