Duplicate Registrations Issue

Hi

Running 4.2.3 and im getting duplicate and some time triplicate registrations, so same user registered with exactly same details 2 or 3 or even 4 times ...

What can i do to stop this / fix the issue ?

The following is set to 'Yes':

AdminCP > Settings > Options > User Registration Options > Require Unique Email Addresses

So its not the issue...

Its not possible to have duplicate registrations unless you have a very broken plugin somewhere, or someone has admin / server access, or they are using the common trick of of letters within the name that look similar, but are not.

I am having this same issue, and the person is able to register and give themselves admin access! Any help is great.
