Hi guys
Not sure where to ask this question but here goes.
After removing VBSEO and upgrading from 4.1.12 to 4.2.3 I have an issue with internal links on the forum.
The old links that are on the forum are in this format.
The new links created since the upgrade and removal of VBSEO are in this format.
Currently members are clicking on the old links that opens up a page that says Not Found
I have asked them to edit the URLs by removing the lg/ part and adding showthread.php? and then hit enter.
The links then works correctly.
Obviously this is a bit of a pain and I am wondering if there is a way to correct this issue before I move the forum over from the VPS to the new dedicated server I have.
I have basic friendly URL's set and wonder if this issue can be resolved with the mod rewrite feature with the correct rules in the .htaccess file.
Many thanks for any pointers.
