Videos not pasted properly

In my vBulletin 4.2.3 and I have the latest PHP, when I paste a youtube video into a post by clicking on the video icon, it doesn't paste properly. For example,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNzmSEzzU0c

gets pasted as

I am using 5.4.45 php

Also this ~ shows up also when I simply copy text and then paste it in.
