[Forum] New attachments only displaying a links after uppgrade

I upgrade to 4.2.3 the other night. Now when I attach a image in a post it only shows up as a link only and does not display the image. If I click on the link the image will display but it will not display in the post.
All the previous posts that have attachments in them prior to the upgrade are still displaying the attachments properly.
I verified that the usergroup can view attachments and they can.
What is preventing me up uploading new attachments and viewing them? Only the link is displaying.

What version were you running before?
What php version is running on the server?

Try rebuilding attachment thumbnails in AdminCP > Maintenance > General Update Tools

I got this resolved for now.
It was because before I upgraded PHP and it was running as suphp, which is not recommended for vBulletin as it uses up too many resources. But all the file permissions on the server were tailored for that. I will need to work on those if I want to go away from Suphp. For now I just re-enabled it.

Glad you got to the bottom of it.
