        HI

Do we have an update on the release of 4.2.4 ?

I cannot update the mobile apps as I am running 4.2.3 and it will not let me

Also will version 4.2.4 support PHP 7 ?

There is no release date and 4.2.4 will likely remain in beta for a long time. If you need to use it, you should do so.

There is no php 7 support in vBulletin 4. There may never be, as it is not the current product line.

hmm..seems like vb support says different things about php7 in diff topics...

php7 will be the lowest actively supported php version in less than 6 months... and is well known to be a great jump in speeds..

i hope that will be possible at least for vb4...its more resource intensive and many ppl using....

It might happen, it's hoped it will happen, but at this time it has not happened.
Paul M might be able to provide further details.

Mark is half correct - 4.2.4 will remain beta for a while yet, however, its perfectly stable and can be used for production.

As for PHP7, thats being worked on in the background for vB3 & vB4, at this time there is nothing publicly available.

Alpha versions will be released at some point for people to test.
These test sites are running the latest PHP 7 alpha code : http://php.vbtest.org/3xa/ : http://php.vbtest.org/4xa/
