Then can you go click on latest threads.If you scroll down to the bottom you will see it says Results 1 to 20 of 253

I would like to set this so it has a limit and that it can never go over 200.So is there somewhere i can set a limit of 200

There is no way to do this just for "Latest Threads". You can limit all search results to a maximum number though. In the AdminCP go to Settings -> Options -> Message Searching Options. Set the option Maximum Search Results to Return to 200.
