Running VB4.2.2 and when I click to log off it appears to do so and correctly takes me to the sign in page. However when I click any of the links that are live on my sign in page, it takes me right back into my site without having to sign back in. Any idea what might be going on?? I see a large number (a lot larger than normal) of my members that show as on line, so I suspect they may not be able to officially log off either.
Log out not working.

If you allow users to login to your site via both http://www.yoursite.com and just http://yoursite.com, then you MUST have your cookie domain (AdminCP > Settings > Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Cookie Domain) set to ".yoursite.com" (no quotes, but note the period at the beginning) or your users will have problems. If you do not do this, then going back and forth between http://www.yoursite.com and just http://yoursite.com will cause you to show as logged in, then logged out.

Thanx Donald, I tried IE and logout works fine. Using Google Chrome appears to be the problem. Lynne, my cookie domain is and has always been set to .yoursite.com any suggestions how to fix the problem with Chrome? Seems to have just cropped up in the last couple of days. I also no longer get timed out, even though my settings show 900 secs as the timeout number. Thanx, JerryComment

Try clearing all your Chrome browser cookies and the history and then login and see if you can logout.
Do you have a test account we can try this with? I use Chrome all the time and haven't had any problems logging out.

Bingo, clearing cookies took care of the issue Lynne. Prevously, I had only cleared the cache. Thanx Much, StuComment
