[Forum] 4.2.2.PL4 not fixed regarding google-search forwarding

Running 4.2.2PL4 and site is having trouble with forwarding.

To replicate:

google search "whatever site:modellflynytt.no"
click link
You end up on some bad site.

Are you running vBSEO? it sounds like you got hit with the exploit for it. You should remove vBSEO and or upgrade to a newer supported product like DBSEO.

I used to have vbseo before, but removed it when stuff started to get unsupported.
This is pretty bad. Any ideas of how to fix?

These sort of redirect are usually due to a compromised plugin, vbseo was really bad for it but other plugins can get compromised, you can disable all your plugins by adding this line to your config.php

 define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

then if that cures it you will need to work out which one it is.
