    Install Problem

    I am currently working with Vbulletin 4-2-2 level 4 patch:

    This has started recently but when I try to run the install scripts on my website it loads half way threw but does not go past 50% and seems to always get stuck on
    • Step 15 - Altering cms_article Table (1 of 1)
    • Updating cms_widgettype table
    • Updating cms_permissions table
    • Updating cms_permissions table
    • Updating cms_permissions table


    Anyone else experienced this problem before? If so can anyone help me please and thank you.

    For me is hapening with vB5, but I think it come from the server. For example on Godaddy hosting a get this problem on vB5 but vB4 is ok. On Hostgator hosting are both fine.

      Well for me I am working off of Godaddy and this is the first time I am having this problem.

        Maybe you can try to reupload again all the file and replace them.

          Is this a brand new install on an empty database?

          What version of PHP is your server running?

            Well depends how you see it, I created a new database and user for the newly installed scripts
            PHP Version 5.4.34

              Yeah still having this problem where it gets stuck on updating CMS but does not proceed. I have let it be for 6 hours today and it has not gone on.
