One more try... Please re-upload the ./includes/xml/ folder from your original software package again. This folder also includes the menus in admincp, maybe there is something wrong with it.No private support, only PM me when I ask for it. Support in the forums only.Comment

I had the same problem after applying 4.2.0 Level 3. Copied adminfunctions.php from my backup of the previous version adn it all started to work.
Any ideas or issues we'll face having rolled this file back a few versions?Comment

Can you try re-downloading the ZIP file from the Members Area and re-upload all files (except install/install.php and includes/config.php.new) making sure you overwrite all files currently on your server.
Does this resolve the problem?Comment

Point 1 of the link Ali gave on Saturday:
1. You did not upload the vB files correctly. Reupload the vB non-image files and make sure you upload these in ASCII format and that you overwrite the ones on the server. Make sure you upload the Admin CP files to the admincp directory specified in your config.php file. Then, if you can access the Admin CP, run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version:
Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions
Do any show as 'File does not contain expected contents', 'version mismatch' or missing? If so, you need to reupload the original vB non-image files. Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server.Comment
