    [Forum] Posting to CMS

    Hello,

    Is there a way to allow an admin or mod to place a thread on the cms in the main center section without promoting it as an article?

    The only way I can think of is to use the recent post widget but I want something more focused so we can pick what Gore on the main page.

      Unless it's an article or shows as a recent thread in a widget, no.
      Vote for:

      - Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
      - Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)

          Oh jeez..got my threads mixed up. Am on mobile right now.

          Anyhow.. this seems like a giant short fall to me.

          I guess the best way would be to create a section and category just for submitted posts and have it be the main page. Just have to figure out how to keep these parts from being crawled in both sections.. The forum and the cms.
