[CMS] Keep CMS but close forum, groups and blogs...

Running 4.2 .... I am going to close one of my forums, but I would like to continue the CMS for articles and news. The only communications I want are PM and Contact Us... no comments on the articles or anywhere else.

How can I turn off the forum, blogs and groups to the public, but still have access to it for admin only so that I can go through and promote some of the threads to articles?

You can set the rights in usergroup permissions for this.
