Error while sending e-mail

i am using VB 4.2.2 pl3
And I send the email using my gmail account
This is the settings in ny vbulletin


The E-mail is successfully sent, but I get an this error message on my site:

i am using php 5.5.12
But this error started only after I have upgraded to vb 4.2.2 pl2.
And when users send e-mail using the "Contact us", I do not receive the e-mail.
But the site seems a message to the user that the e-mail has been sent successfully.

i downgrade to php 5.3.13
And I do not get the error message.
But still the server does not send email through the "Contact us"

You should be using PHP 5.4 with 4.2.2 or upgrade to 4.2.3 for PHP 5.5

PHP 5.3 is EOL

I'm having problems with emails as well, maybe in a different fashion. We're running 4.2.2. PL 1 with PHP 5.3.19. Is that a problematic combination??
