[Forum] Visitor Permissions

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I can't find a thread with my answer...

Using vB 4.2, I want to allow non-members (guests) to view my articles and blogs, but not the main forums. I've changed the permissions around various ways, but it keeps ending up they can either see all the site or none of the site.

If someone could point me in the right direction of where I'm going wrong, I would appreciate it.

You need to use the Forum Permissions to stop them being able to view threads:

AdminCP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions

Vote for:

- Admin Settable Paid Subscription Reminder Timeframe (vB6)
- Add Admin ability to auto-subscribe users to specific channel(s) (vB6)
