[Forum] Will 4.2 run on php 5.4?

I am going to change the php on my server to accomodate Connect 5.0 but I want to make sure that 4.2 will run on php 5.4 first so I don't break my live forum.

      Yes and no.

You'll need to turn off notices and depreciated error reporting. Turning off error_display is normally better.
We have an old GD bug that got fixed in PHP 5.4, you may need to use ImageMagick instead for the time being.
There have been a few reports of issues with the ckeditor as well.

PHP 5.3 would be best, both applications run on php 5.3 without issue.

We released 4.2.2 Alpha 1 yesterday... You can use it on PHP 5.4 and it will eliminate most problems.
