    Is it a dedicated/vps server?

    If so, edit php.ini & turn on display_errors, then restart apache.

    If not, your host may allow you use of a php.ini in your main root folder via ftp upload, which you can set the same flag via a php.ini file

    display_errors = On

      Checked server logs and class_core got a error on line 3220 -> include(CWD . '/includes/config.php');

      // parse the config file
      $config = array();
      include(CWD . '/includes/config.php');

        did you rename config.php.new to config.php in the includes dir?

        did you verfiy that you properly edited & configured your settings in config.php, also verify that you didnt remove any coding values, you need ot simply plugin the correct info for the db.

          Can you paste the actual error from the server logs?

              Looks like this is only happens on search.php, re-verify your upload of that file in ascii mode via ftp or what ever your using to upload files.

                  I would reupload ALL the files again, in ASCII mode.

                  The error seems to be on getdaily searches:

                  But the main search page loads fine.

                  This suggests it could be one of the files that the search uses, rather than search.php itself.

                        Thats something im not going to do because that wont work. I have installed the older version 4.1.0 and the same problem. Upgraded to 4.1.2 and didnt work.

                        And a few seconds ago if done another fresh install with the ASCII mode and didnt work....

                        Any other ideas?

                              mod_rewrite isnt going to cause that issue.

                              typically that error is caused by corrupt files or bad coding in hack/addons for vbulletin, as this is a new install, this is most likely a file corruption issue on upload.

                              so a reup of all file, excluding images should be done, images should be done in binary, not ascii.

                              you also dont need to reinstall, simply reup the files
