    [Forum] bbcode issue

    hi all, i upgraded to v4.2 last night and one of the problems im left with is that it seems no matter what options i check i cant have signatures showing the bb [url] tag. i just get is the bbcode displayed

    ive changed the bb settings in options also changed the bb setting on usergroups, nothing makes any difference.

    am i missing something

    Do you mean that if someone puts a URL in their sig, it literally says "Member Upgrade" instead?

    A link to an example post would be handy.

      no i mean it should say that, linked but it just displays the bbcode, i cant put a link due to the content, but i can pm you or put in a support ticket, i just thought it might be a common issue.

        Permissions look right.

        Please try the following first, to rule out custom code being the issue:

        1. To disable the plugin/hook system completely, edit includes/config.php and add the following code:
        Just below
        Code:
        <?php
        enter
        Code:
        define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
        Does the problem still occur?

            No need, try this:

            AdminCP > General Update Tools> Empty Signature Cache

            Empty that and see if the problem is solved for everyone else.

              ok thanks that worked, also every internal link that user have posted is also dead, i mean if a user had a link in their post it now just prints the link but its not a live, is that cache too

                Try editing and saving one of the posts without making any changes....

                If that works, then you could try rebuilding the post cache (AdminCP > General Update Tools)

                Note that this can be quite an intensive process depending on how big your forum is.
