    The URL you specified tells google to look at:

    That is a sitemap XML file that does seem to contain the links from your site-

    Code:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

        It probably does, there were 2 sitemap files listed I only posted the one for treads since it held more relevant info...

        The URL you submit to google you get from the Admin CP - If you look at the admincp > XML Sitemap > Rebuild Sitemap it gives you the link. "The sitemap will be accessed by search engines via this URL."

            The sitemap manager states this: Once your sitemap has been built, it will automatically be submitted to the search engines you selected in the sitemap options.

            So do I don't really need to submit a sitemap?

              I always tell Google where it is via Webmaster Tools. It can't do any harm, and allows you to check it's readable etc as Google will tell you if it isn't.

                I haven't had any luck with that so far.

                  We will need a bit more information about what's going wrong.

                    Sorry it took me so long to reply. Well my problem is I don't know what URL to submit in Google Webmaster tools in the box to the right of my forum URL. In admincp xml sitemap manager it has this: The sitemap will be accessed by search engines via this URL. When I click on that it just downloads a file but does not show the URL so I don't know what URL Google needs.

                          Do whatever you do to right click and see the list of options for the link - however I've already provided it there
