[Forum] New posts keep inserting thread title above post

In the last few days, often when a user posts in an existing thread, the threat title is inserted in the post too (they aren't doing it themselves). See here for example. Any idea how do I stop this please?

Note: maybe around the same time it started, I updated the forum counters for threads and then forums (I changed the global ignore option), but can't say for sure that there aren't examples from before I did this.

    Thanks.

Could you temporarily install the default style (as a style option) so we can see see what it would look like without the style customization?

If you go to "Quick Edit" the post, the text isn't in it?

Thanks Joe. You should now see "vbulletin style" in the dropdown.
If I quick edit, the title bit is not part of the edit field.
If I "go advanced" it appears in the title area.

        That's a weird one-

In "Message Posting and Editing Options" check the setting Automatically Quote Post / Thread Title and make sure it is set to No.

However I would expect that to show "Re:" before the title if that was the issue.

I would suggest disabling any 3rd party products and see if the issue goes away.

Have you seen it continue to happen?

Just realised it might be Tapatalk! I did a tapatalk update the other day and a user has confirmed it's when they reply using that. I'll contact other users to check the pattern. Sorry to bother you and thanks for your help.

In case anyone searches and finds this, it's designed that way by Tapatalk and they are intending to include the option to turn it on and off in admin in a future version.
