Hi,
We have our forum in a sub-domian, and our primary URL is www.mydomain.com.au (I'm highlighting the www bit)
When I visit one of our thread pages without the www in-front - I end up in what seems an endless loop of the page trying to load.
Ideally we want the non www pages to forward to www, and I know how to do that, but the page can't even load properly for it to redirect.
All I can find in the showthread.php file that would be triggering something like this to happen is this block of code:
My question is - what exactly does this do?
The canonical URL on my page has the www in front. Could this code block be triggering a loop somehow?
If anyone has had this issue before, or knows why this is happening, I would really appreciate some guidance - I'm at a dead end as to why or how it's getting stuck in this loop.
Thanks,
hilary
