[Answered] <img> tag and IE

We just upgraded to vb4 from vb3.8.7 and ran into a really weird problem where IE would show the broken image icon for all images that were posted/attached in a thread. Upon opening an image in a new window, IE would prompt to download the file and not show it automatically. Chrome and Firefox would show images fine. After hours of debugging we found that the mime type for jpg was set as image/jpg.

The fix? Change the mime type setting in the Attachment Manager for .jpg extension to image/jpeg.

I'm simply posting this to help any others out there who might run into the same issue ...
