If someone was working on the mobile apps they would have been finished a long time ago. Issues that were reported back in May/Jun are still outstanding and not even mentioned in the links above. Even if someone was working on the mobile apps one day a week they would have had time to fix all the bugs. So no they have not been worked on in months and months. Staff have even said there is no point upgrading your expired mobile app payments, I wonder why. ???

It looks like they have the hands full with vb 5 atm and any plans to work on the 4.2. series might have been pushed back/delayed.

Not a whole lot is going on there.

It seems pretty clear that vb5 has priority and vb4 does not.

I think this would be very different if there would be a recurring license fee. Then they would have to spend development time on vb4. No its simply a waste of resources, as vb5 is where the money is.

vb4.2.1 will come out after vb5 Gold is released. Unless vb5 Gold will be released half baked, it will probably take many months before its up for release. I know that vb5 was said to be released this year, but I am not certain if this meant vb5 Gold was also due this year. It does not look that way.
