Importing Style And Settings To Fresh Install?

Thanks for the follow up, Zachery. I do still have a question. I wasn't sure if Impex was a one time thing or if it could be 'done over'. Knowing that now, how do I get the most recent forum backup from the still running phpbb site onto the vbulletin test site that was impexed 20 days ago or so? That's the part I don't understand. Thanks.

Ok since you can't save the settings (it's not possible unless there's a mod over at vbulletin.org), export/download your style(s). Delete the test site, start a new test site with the same info from the live site (db name, user, and pass). Then since you'll have a vanilla vB site locally, run the impex from the backup of the live site. Finally import/upload your style(s) from the old test site.
